Richard Cheese is planning to release several new albums in 2008 and 2009, but he NEEDS YOUR HELP to fund these recordings. Putting out a new CD involves a great deal of expense: studio time, musician fees, tracking sessions, mixing, publishing royalties, packaging design, publicity, promotion, marketing, and other production, manufacturing, and distribution costs. Richard's previous CDs cost from $50,000 to $80,000 EACH! Richard Cheese is not bankrolled by a big corporate record label; Richard was dropped by those labels, and he is now an independent artist making his own music----and paying for it out of his own pocket. And, since Richard doesn't write his own songs, a significant portion of his CD sales revenue goes toward paying royalties to other artists. So, Richard really doesn't turn a profit on his CDs during the first five to seven years of release. That's why we're asking our fans for financial support so Richard can afford to make more music and release new albums for his cherished fans like you. By making a contribution, you can personally help Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine fund these CDs and deliver more great lounge albums. And, before we release Richard's albums for sale to the general public, we're sending them to our fanclub members FIRST!
